231221 DAZED KOREA - KEY
D. It’s really has been a long time. Whether if it’s <DAZED> or if it’s us. I really thought of you a lot and missed you a lot. And I have always giving my support.
K. It’s been 10 years since I shot for my first individual photoshoot. There’s a feeling that I have every time I shoot for a photoshoot. Being apart from a group, it’s something that I can do on my own and a content that our fans will like, it’s also similar to the philosophy I feel as I promote, to be able to have something different from other medias so I am always glad to be invited. I have been looking out and it’s even more interesting because the casting is always unexpected.
D. What are you into these days. Whether if it’s clothes, music, movies, books, people or mundane matters.
K. I am always interested in culture regardless of the type and I will either pay a visit or experience it myself. I feel that that’s important. If we are talking about what can be seen, I am into rock chic formal too, and there was a period of time when I was going towards a gentlemanly calm look. In the midst of it, there was a period of time I was into the luxury category but recently, I am captivated by the clothes that people who are in university or those who are in their 20s wear. As I am able to try out experimental style on stage, I think it’s good to be able to show both sides (of me). It might be different again next time. I have no time for shopping nowadays. I walked past a vintage shop when I was doing a schedule in Madrid Spain and other than what I saw that time, I have nearly no time to shop. If I do have the free time, I think I will go into a period of time where I will be so into clothes again.
D. The days ahead of you will be unlimited and dazzling. What is it that you want and wish for the most.
K. I don’t know how things will be next year but I am sure there will be time that we will have to change our style that matches our age. It will definitely come but it will not be bent just like that, I won’t just bent when the time comes
but I think I will need to naturally match up with it. I don’t want myself to be seen as someone in their 20s now too. I don’t yearn for that at all. If someone at this particular age has words or music that is convincing, I think that’s enough. Just naturally, without putting in too much effort. I don’t know where is the end but if I am able to be someone who is able to continously express something at my age, I think I won’t lose my elegance when that time comes. That’s my goal. That’s because I have an assurance that people will want to see the natural side of me. As human Kim Kibum and as Key too.
D. To the 2024 you.
K. It’s the same for myself, I hope everyone won’t blame themselves for not being able to be intense. You actually don’t have to be. The world is already very tough, and everything is 70% suffering and 30% joy so whatever we end up to be, we are living for that 30%. Even though it’s a given, health! My health is, of course, important too but I hope that it can be a year where I can take care of others’ health too.
